IMPACT Week | October 22-29

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey last month, Salem is sponsoring Impact Week in the days leading up to the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  There are two ways to participate in Impact Week:

1. Adopt-a-Family (Registration Closed) — Come alongside a flood victim to provide a gift basket, meal, devotional resource, and a check representing a portion of the proceeds from Salem’s Disaster Response offering.  Many families have been challenged by the events surrounding Harvey, and this is your time to make a difference.  Groups and/or families can register online to adopt a particular family and actual basket deliveries will be made during Impact Week.

2. First Responder Baskets — On Impact Saturday, October 28, Salem members will thank our area first responders by preparing and delivering gift baskets filled with appreciation cards, food items, and gift cards.  Groups will meet in the Community Center atrium at 9am to prepare the baskets, then deliver to the stations.  Once you register, you will be notified and asked to bring certain supplies to the event.

3. Campus Clean Up Day - On Impact Saturday, October 28 from 8:30 AM till Noon, we would love your help with cleaning up the campus outside. Projects that day will include gardening, mulching, and other things around the outside of the campus.
