Kidz Ministry Team Inquiry Form

Welcome Team - The purposes of the Welcome Team are to, to make newcomers feel welcome, and provide a safe and secure area for our children to worship. We need folks for this team both first and second service.

  • Guest Services (1 per service) - Oversee reception/check-in area, answer questions and escort children to their worship service or classroom. In addition, your goal is to make newcomers feel welcome, take their pertinent information, answer questions they may have and get them to their group as quickly as possible.
  • Security (2 for 2nd service) - As a member of security, you will oversee a posted area to patrol for wandering children, and check name tags as parents pick up their children.

Kidz Quest - (through second grade) Are you a kid at heart? Then come have fun with us during Kidz Quest.

  • Guides (4) - We need loving individuals to gather and oversee a group of children as they enjoy a dynamic worship experience.
  • Large Group Presenters (2) - Do you have the talents to make children’s worship come alive?  Then we need you for Kidz Quest!  With our fun and easy-to-use curriculum, you can prepare your heart for a great time teaching children about Jesus Christ!
  • Puppet Team (2 to 4) - One of the most dynamic ways to capture a child’s attention is through the art of puppetry.  Young children love to learn from puppets!  What a great way to help share Christ with kids!
  • Music & Motion Team (2 to 4) - No worship program would be complete without a praise team!  If you love to sing, dance, and encourage others to join in, become part of the Praise Quest team!
  • Tech Team (2) - Lights, camera, action!  To bring the stage to life, we need gifted people who can run sound, lights, videos, music & slide shows for our electrifying program. 

Kidz Power Hour (through sixth grades)

  • Large Group Presenters (2 to 4) - With our fun and easy-to-use curriculum, you can prepare your heart for a lesson that will knock their socks off - - even if you thought you couldn’t! 
  • Puppet Team (2 to 4) - Each character in our puppet ministry needs a personality…and maybe that personality is you!  Join the team and have fun using puppets to teach children the Bible point for each week’s lesson!
  • Music & Motion (2 to 4) - Do you want to be part of the posse and help others praise the Lord with song and dance?  Then power up and join the Power Posse!
  • Tech Team (2) - Lights, camera, action!  To bring the stage to life, we need gifted people who can run sound, lights, videos, music & slide shows for our electrifying program. 
  • Supply Coordinators (4) - Definitely one of the most important roles in Kidz Ministry!  This person(s) oversee the inventory in the supply closet, prepares materials and supplies for each week’s lesson, and sets up the classroom totes each Sunday.  Has God given you the gift of organization with a little dash of creativity?  Then this is the role for you! We need supply coordinators for the following areas:
    • Pre-K – 2nd Grade
    • Highway 34 (3rd-4th Grade)
    • Route 56 (5th-6th Grade)
  • Teachers (18) - Children are the most precious lambs in God’s flock, and they need shepherds to enrich and equip them with the love of Jesus.  If you have a heart for children and a desire to share Christ, then you have what it takes to be a teacher.  With an easy-to-use curriculum and all the supplies ready to go, you simply prepare your heart for your class. We need teachers for the following areas:
    • Pre-K – 2nd Grade
    • Highway 34 (3rd-4th Grade)
    • Route 56 (5th-6th Grade)
  • Assistants (18) - Each shepherd has an assistant in their classroom each Sunday.  The assistant helps take role, distributes crafts and supplies, and helps transport kids to and from the clubhouse.  If you are a parent, your child will love having you join them in class once or twice per month!

Kidz Konnect (First and third Wednesdays)

  • Large Group Presenters (2) - Let God reveal the talents you have to get these kids excited about Christ!
  • Tech Team (2)
  • Supply Coordinator (1)
  • Teachers (8 to 12) - Do you like working closely with a group? Then you’re the person who can round ‘em up & set ‘em down to learn about the Lord!  Each teacher takes  5 to 10 children during small group time of the program.  Pray about this opportunity to let God’s children know they are part of his circle! We need circle leaders for the following areas:
    • Club 45 (4 & 5 year olds)
    • Trail 12 (1st-2nd Grade)
    • Highway 34 (3rd-4th Grade)
  • Route 56 (5th-6th Grade)

Toddler Time

  • Supply Coordinator (1)
  • Teachers (2 to 4) - As a teacher for Toddler Time, you help both the parent and child with the weekly lessons.  You are more than a teacher, you are a mentor for the family as they begin their journey in sharing their faith and knowledge of our dear Lord.

Other Ministry Needs:

  • Friends Frenzy Coordinator (1 to 2) - We want to encourage children to share Christ by bringing their friends to church. This is fun and a great way to shine for Christ! As the coordinator for this program, you will take T.I.G., the Kidz Ministry Robot, around to each class one time per month and give out a prize to a child that has brought a friend during that specific month. 
  • ‘Power Bucks’ Program Coordinator (1 to 2) - As we kick off in the fall we want to recognize children as they connect with Christ. The coordinator for the ‘Power Bucks’ will produce the ‘bucks,’ distribute them to the shepherds, maintain the guidelines, create and oversee the prize display.
  • Postcards Coordinator (1 to 2) - Kidz Ministry sends out postcards for many different occasions.  We need a group of individuals that would help us make sure these cards are prepared and sent out on a regular basis.
