Administrative Assistant & Database Manager

The Administrative Assistant and Database Manager serves a vital role in the areas of managing, training, and utilizing Salem’s database for ministry effectiveness. This person also assists the pastoral staff in Salem’s care ministry and the Spiritual Formation Team with administrative support, including preparing reports, handling information requests, and clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Community Center Receptionist

The Community Center Receptionist is a part-time position, Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. This position is vital in a guest's first impression of Salem. You will receive guests at the front desk with a friendly greeting and offer a welcoming environment and be able to give accurate and helpful information about Salem, Salem Lutheran School, our facilities, events and staff. This is a volunteer position and would require approximately 6-8 hours a week. The social media specialist will focus on day-to-day content creation and posting regular content. They design and schedule content across all Salem's social media platforms, they write social copy, draft replies to messages and comments, stay on top of key trends in social media and publish and promote content, usually by scheduling it in advance with the help of a content calendar.
