Breathe Just Breath
“Breathe, just breathe.” How many times have you heard that? All we have to do is turn on the television or look at a newsfeed on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to know our world is a complete mess. At least that’s what many would like us to believe.
As Christ followers, this is the point where we need to Breathe. Why? None of this surprises us. We don’t expect life to be easy. We know this life is not about this life. We live and serve in peace knowing there is One who walks with us in the chaos, so when life feels out of control, we are able to Breathe.
As we begin a new Easter season teaching series this weekend, Breathe, we’ll see how Jesus brings calm amidst the storms of life, settles the riotous crowd around us, silences the criticism against the truth we make known and dispels the doubts that limit our efforts to make Jesus real in the lives of others.
The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4
I invite you to join us at one of our services this weekend. We have services on our Tomball campus at 9 and 10:45am. We also have worship at our online campus, beginning at 10:45am.
