At the Cancer Care Support Fellowship at Salem, we want to provide spiritual and emotional support to people who are experiencing cancer and their caregivers.
Cancer Care meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7PM in Salem’s Fellowship Hall.
Our Cancer Care Support Fellowship team members “adopt” people (we refer to them as Care Receivers or CR’s) who have come forward to let us know they or someone they love is struggling with cancer. The team member then develops a more personal relationship with those individuals, checking in on them at least once a month, more often when struggling. All of our team members have been touched by cancer in one way or another, either by cancer themselves or being the care giver of a loved one with cancer.
We are so excited to get together in person again.
Please join us for an informal pinch of time to catch up, have a cup of coffee, and share prayer requests with our Salem Cancer Care Ministry team members, fellow cancer patients and caregivers. Please, if you bring a snack, it must be individually wrapped and store bought. We are all looking forward to when we can bring those homemade goodies again.
We are looking forward to being with you again! A few rules:
- Max 3 people per table unless family.
- Must wear face masks.
- We will sanitize tables and chairs before and after meeting.
See you there
