What Does Peace Look Like? Luke 19:41-42
As Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, “If you, even you, had only know on this day what would bring you peace” (Luke 19:41-42).
Jesus came into the city of Jerusalem on the back of a donkey and people thought one thing was happening and what Jesus was weeping over was the fact that people were missing the point. I want to ask you: what brings you peace? Our world will tell you that there’s a whole lot of things that can bring you peace. They’ll tell you a big bank account will bring your peace. They’ll tell you good health will bring you peace. They’ll tell you a good family will bring you peace. They’ll tell you a spouse will bring your peace. They’ll tell you good job, the right degree, and I could keep going down the list of all the things that are supposedly going to bring peace to your life. What brings you peace? Click To Tweet
