Your child's best interest is in mind when it comes to safety and security. All of our volunteers are background checked. Our smooth, organized and efficient check-in and pick-up process uses a security tag system so you can feel confident that your children are safe in the care of competent and diligent people. Our Safety Team partners with our Kids Team to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere for your kids!

We have people all over campus that are ready to help and direct you, along with signage leading you to Salem Kid's Ministry. All Kids, Birth-4th grade, and TWEENS will check in at the Welcome desk in the Community Center. Your family and your children are important to us! In order to maintain a secure check-in and pick-up process for your child, on your first visit we’ll be asking for: Parent/legal guardian names, children's names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs, etc.). This is to maintain a secure check-in and pick-up process for your child.

Your cell phone number will be printed on your child’s name tag when you check in. If needed, you’ll be contacted via a text or call. Should we need additional phone numbers, we have all parent info in our check-in system that is directly tied to the Church Center app. In cases of an emergency, the safety team is alerted as well, and we will work together to bring you from the Worship Center.

A space for nursing mothers is located in the main women’s restroom located just off the main church lobby. There is also a space, again located off the main church lobby, for parents with babies or restless toddlers equipped with a sound proof window and TV monitor so the Worship Experience can be viewed in comfort.
